When steeped in boiling water, walnut leaves create a fragrant, relaxing tea. Many drinkers say that walnut leaf tea tastes just like a milder green tea, with a pleasant comforting flavour and a slightly floral aroma. Description
Walnut leaves are used as an excellent source of vitamin C, not inferior to black currants. The maximum amount of vitamin in them is contained during the collection period of leaves. In addition, the leaves are rich in carotene, vitamins B1, P, tannins, essential oils, contain quinones (juglon), phenol carboxylic acids, coumarins, flavonoids, ellagic, galus and caffeic acids, flavoxanthin, violaxanthin, anthocyanins and glycosides. Vitamin C increases the body’s stability, strengthens the vascular walls (along with vitamin P), favorably affects the work of the liver and kidneys. Vitamin B1 plays an important role in the nutrition of the nervous system, is beneficial for the heart, blood vessels and digestive system. In addition, it increases the body’s resistance. Carotene is an antioxidant, adaptogen and immunostimulant. The tannins of walnut leaves have astringent properties. Walnut leaf leaves and juglons are effective against many microorganisms (staphylococci, pathogens of dysentery and tuberculosis, candida and other fungi), and essential oils are natural repellents.
So, the main effects of walnut leaves are antimicrobial, antiviral, wound healing, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulating, general strengthening. They improve metabolism, increase blood coagulation, reduce blood sugar. About The Farm:
We dreamed of having our food products free from pesticides, herbicides, and as nutritionally dense as possible. The result is an agricultural system that preserves the health of the farmer, consumer, and mother nature. All products are grown using a regenerative agriculture system. This means the diverse plant and fungal ecology is planned in such a way that the crop’s nutritional needs are met by this underground network. As a result of the dense understory soil organic matter is also building. This improves the soil’s water-holding capacity and pulls carbon from the atmosphere into the soil where it acts as a vital building component in plant growth. How is that for reducing carbon footprint?
